1 Only delegates from countries of low and middle-low income according to the list enclosed are eligible for this reduced registration fee.

The reduced registration fee is only applicable, if it has been credited to the congress account before the deadline. Registering before the respective deadlines without performing an actual payment is not sufficient to benefit from the reduction. Please note that if the payment has not been made in time a different fee will be charged oniste.


Group Registrations

The registration fees include:

During the registration process, you have the possibility to indicate your IUSTI-Membership. If you indicate that you are a member of IUSTI, your membership status will be verified. If you are a full paid up IUSTI-Member for 2013, you will receive a refund of EUR 30,- onsite at the registration desk.


Children and Accompanying Persons
Children and members of the public are not permitted in the exhibition area or any room hosting an industry activity. In addition, the STI & AIDS World Congress 2013 asks delegates and faculty to refrain from taking children and accompanying adults to any scientific sessions or practical demonstrations. In the event that children are required to enter the Congress Centre they should be supervised by an adult at all times and observe the restrictions that apply to limited access areas. In the event that a member of public is invited to participate in the STI & AIDS World Congress 2013 Congress scientific programme, they should be accompanied by a qualified healthcare professional or STI & AIDS World Congress 2013 representative observing the STI & AIDS World Congress 2013 restrictions where appropriate.

To avoid bank charges, please use the IBAN within the EU. Payments to be made free of charge to the beneficiary. Any bank charges will be collected on site.

Payments with Diners Club, Mastercard and Visa are possible. No other credit cards are accepted.


Confirmation of registration
After receipt of your registration you will receive a confirmation/invoice of registration by the congress office. After your payment has been received, you will receive a separate written confirmation per Email. Kindly note that payments made within 2 weeks prior to the conference cannot be confirmed in writing. If you made a bank transfer within this period, it will be essential to bring a proof of payment of your registration fee, when collecting the registration material.
After JUNE 30, 2013, pre-registration will be closed but you may register at the “On-site registration desk”.


Cancellations and refunds 
Notice of cancellation must be made in writing by registered letter or fax to the Congress Office.
Registration fees may be refunded as follows:
Written cancellation received:
– before April 21, 2013: 75% refund
– between April 22 and June 09, 2013: 25% refund
– after June 10, 2013: no refund

The date of the postmark or fax ID will be the basis for considering refunds. Please indicate the preferred method of reimbursement (cheque or bank transfer, incl. account number) on your written cancellation. Refunds will be made after the congress.

July 14, 2013: On-site registration & payment at on-site rate. Please do not send in registration forms or perform bank transfers within this period. Please register and pay at the “On site-registration desk” at the venue.

Please note: Pre-registration without payment of the registration fee is possible. The on-site fee will then have to be paid at the registration desk (Credit card or cash in EUR).
